Senior Recital featuring Sebastian Kuhn

Our Spring Senior Recitals begin with a special performance featuring Sebastian Kuhn. This Sunday afternoon concert will present an assortment of songs that represent the music he’s studied while at SUNY Plattsburgh. Mark your calendars for this great concert.

Two of our star students take center stage at the Krinovitz Recital Hall for the start of a weekend of Senior Recitals. Bella Lambert and Evan Field Hoffman join forces to entertain with a repertoire of music covering their time as music students at SUNY Plattsburgh. Our second Senior Recital for the weekend brings the house down with one of our brightest students, Ngozi Permaul. For this afternoon concert, he is sure to entertain with a variety of music covering the breadth of work he’s studied in his time at SUNY Plattsburgh. This is a must-see concert.

Spring 2026 Symphonic Band Concert

Join director Daniel Gordon as he brings the SUNY Plattsburgh Symphonic Band to the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium for a spring 2026 concert. Comprised of both students and community members, the band meets weekly to practice this semesterly event. The Symphonic Band concert is a staple of the SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music’s offerings and is free to the public to come and enjoy.

The 35th anniversary of the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir is almost at hand, and they’re dedicating a weekend to celebrate! Join Dr. Dexter Criss in a three day event that culminates with GospelFEST 2026. Meet old and new friends alike as several special guests are returning to join the PSGC for this anniversary event. Don’t miss out on this celebration of history and music!

Join us for an incredible performance by the SUNY Plattsburgh Concert Choir,  Minor Adjustments, the Plattsburgh Gospel Choir, and the Champlain Valley Chorus (Sweet Adelines) guest directed by Pam Lavin and accompanied by music alumnus, Ryan Mahony. Our choir students span beyond music majors, and gather to perform due to their love of music and singing. Don't miss out on this great event!

Spring 2026 Jazz Ensemble Concert

Directed by Michael Lewandowski, the SUNY Plattsburgh Jazz Ensemble returns to the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium this spring. Touting a selection of jazz favorites, the ensemble brings students together with community members to create a one of a kind performance that needs to be seen. Whether you’re a fan or just discovering jazz, there’s no better concert to attend to appreciate the genre.

Spring 2026 Guitar Ensemble Concert
“Strings From The Rings Of Saturn”

Gathered from around the campus, the SUNY Plattsburgh Guitar Ensemble brings an energy to the Krinovitz stage unlike any other. Under the mentorship of director Michael Fratino, the group often performs a wide variety of music, from classical guitar, modern hits, and even some fun pieces from movies and video games. There’s something for everyone to love at this concert.
