The 38th Annual SUNY Plattsburgh Career Night offers a unique opportunity for students to interact personally with a broad range of potential employers, while broadening their perspectives on career and employment options. Representatives from area companies and organizations will be on site to interact with students regarding career and professional information, part-time and summer employment, internship opportunities, and full-time employment. This event is open to all SUNY Plattsburgh students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Juniors and Seniors are strongly encouraged to attend, and professional attire is expected.
1. Prospective employers are right here – on campus!
2. This event is a great chance to explore possible internships as well as career opportunities.
3. This event gives you dozens of guests to practice your 30-second ‘Elevator Pitch’ with.
4. Some employers will be scheduling interviews.
Will Rogers famously said, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." Before you go, review our Tips for Attending a Career Fair. and plan to attend our workshop specifically designed to help you learn the basics about attending a career or job fair. This information will apply to any job fair but participants will learn more details of SUNY Plattsburgh's annual Career Night. Find out what to wear, what to bring, and what to say. Also, learn what types of organizations will be attending. Workshops are held in the the Career Lab, 204 Angell College Center.
SUNY Plattsburgh Career Night and Job Fair is the single best opportunity for area employers to meet the talented prospective employees we offer among our graduating seniors and our entire student body.
Career Night 2014 is scheduled for Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the Angell College Center 2nd floor Ballroom.on campus. The advertised time of the job fair for students is 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Employers are encouraged to come early and stay late for our post event networking social.

4:00 PM - 4:15 PM ~ Employer welcome in the Cardinal Lounge
4:30 PM - 7:00 PM ~ Career Fair “The Main Event” in Warren Ballroom
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM ~ Reception/Employer social hour in the Cardinal Lounge
Upon receipt of your registration you will receive a packet of information including a parking pass. Driving directions to the college are available on the college website. If you are not familiar with campus you may wish to view a campus map to locate the Angell College Center. Visitors are encouraged to park in the following lots: Kehoe Administration Building, across the street from the Angell College Center, or off Draper Avenue.

Your $35 registration fee includes parking, a 6-foot table with tablecloth at the career fair, hospitality before and after the event, and admission to our social/cocktail hour for employers only after the job fair concludes.
