Location: Angell College Center (2nd floor Ballrooms) at SUNY Plattsburgh
Time: Employers - 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Students - 7 p.m to 9 p.m.

Open to all SUNY Plattsburgh students!  Especially recommended for Juniors and Seniors.

What Is Career Night?

The 37th Annual SUNY Plattsburgh Career Night will provide a unique opportunity for students to interact personally with a broad range of potential employers, while broadening their perspectives on career and employment options.  These organizations will be available to interact with students regarding career and professional information, part-time and summer employment, internship opportunities, and full-time employment. Alumni are also welcome. See the employers who plan to attend in 2013.

Preparing for a Career Fair

Learn the basics about attending a career or job fair. This information will apply to any job fair but participants will learn more details of SUNY Plattsburgh's annual Career Night. Find out what to wear, what to bring, and what to say. Also, learn what types of organizations will be attending. Workshops are held in the Angell College Center.

Why Attend a Career Fair?

1.      Prospective employers are here – on campus!

2.      This event is a great chance to explore possible internships as well as career opportunities.

3.      This event gives you dozens of guests to practice your 30-second ‘Elevator Pitch’ with.

4.      Some employers will be scheduling interviews.
