Online Learning students on both the main campus and SUNY Plattsburgh at Queensbury campus have access to all the services offered by the Division of Library & Information Services (LIS). Moodle is the learning management system (LMS) that SUNY Plattsburgh uses for online courses. Log-in to Moodle
To access Library resources from off-campus, you will need to login to show that you are a Plattsburgh Student. When you click on a Library Database, such as IAC SearchBank, from any of the Library web pages you will immediately be brought to a login screen. To complete your login you will need both a Usercode and a Password. You only need to login once during your session as long as you don't close all windows of Netscape or Internet Explorer.
To gain access to online databases, you will need to use your Plattsburgh NetID account. Your NetID is the same as you would use to check your email. Your Password , by default, consists of the last four digits of your Social Security Number and the first four letters of your l-ast name; these letters in your password must be entered in uppercase (capital letters).
You can access reference services, book and journal collections, and journal indexes at each local SUNY College with your Plattsburgh SUNYCard as ID.
Computing Services include free, comprehensive computing support services for students and faculty.
Helpdesk support is available Monday through Thursday from 8 AM until 8 PM, and Fridays from 8AM until 4:30 PM at 564-4433. Extended weekend hours are offered the first three weeks of the fall semester.
We offer support for computer set-up, connections to the campus web pages, e-mail trouble shooting, modem login and software installation services.
Document Delivery refers to the provision of books, media, and journal articles that you request. It includes items owned by Feinberg Library and items borrowed or photocopied for you from other libraries.
