We provide SUNY Plattsburgh faculty and students with quality information resources in all formats. We allocate and manage the Feinberg Library materials budgets, and we select, acquire, catalogue and process all resources via the library management system.

Suggest a Purchase

Our Suggest a Purchase service lets SUNY Plattsburgh students, faculty and staff recommend additions to our library collections. Suggestions may be for books, DVDs, or journal subscriptions. We can act quickly on suggestions for books, videos or music; suggestions for digital resources (databases and journal subscriptions) require a longer process. Learn more.

Enhanced Interlibrary Loan option lets you obtain books and simultaneously build the Feinberg collection

When searching for books in our online catalog, you will encounter the usual options to order them via InterLibrary Loan when they are not available in the local Feinberg collection. Now you can now request that Feinberg Library purchase the book you need, rather than simply borrowing it from another library. Convenient menu buttons appear in the catalog search engine, allowing you to select this option if you wish to do so.
