Upcoming Study Away Events

The Global Education Office (GEO) hosts study away events throughout the spring and fall semesters for both prospective study away students and study away alumni.  Please read below for details about upcoming programs, as well as important deadlines.   

Study Away & NSE Walk-in Advising: Every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 2, ACC.  Join GEO for information on study away opportunities, the application process, and program details.  Students in any phase of the study away process are welcome to attend.  Both staff and study away alumni will be available to provide assistance.  Please note that workshops are available while classes are in session during the spring and fall semesters.    

National Student Exchange (NSE) Info Sessions: February 7 from 12:30-1:30 p.m.; February 13 from 2:00-3:00 p.m.; February 19 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.  Join GEO to find out how you can study at another university in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands for a semester or academic year.  There are over 170 great locations to choose from!  All sessions will be held in Meeting Room 2, ACC.     

Australia Information Session: Thursday, February 20 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 1 of the Angell College Center.  Please join us to find out more about the many opportunities to study abroad in Australia, many of which are at top universities in beautiful locations.  There are several scholarship opportunities and staff and students will be there to answer questions. 

UK Information Session: Monday, February 24 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 1 of the Angell College Center.  There are many affordable UK programs, so please join us to find out more about your options.  Students and staff will be there to answer questions and scholarship information will be available.  

Global Education Expo: Thursday, February 27 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in the ACC Ballrooms and Cardinal Lounge.  Please join us for a showcase of international opportunties and cultural displays.  There will be fun activities as well as information about internships, volunteering, career advice, and international programs.  Refreshments will be available. 

Europe Information Session: Wednesday, March 5 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 8 of the Angell College Center.  This is a great opportunity to learn about summer and semester programs throughout Europe, as well as available scholarships.  Staff and students will be there to answer all questions.
