Environmental Studies is designed as a pre-professional degree that focuses on the human dimensions of environmental issues and prepares students for a wide variety of jobs in the public, non-profit and private sectors.
It also prepares students with the necessary background for graduate school in a variety of areas, especially for those who decide to pursue a Master of Science, Master of Professional Studies or Doctoral Program in Environmental Studies at other SUNY institutions.
For more information on careers for environmental studies majors, be sure to check out Kevin Doyle's column at the Environmental Careers Organization . Doyle, and the ECO in general, highlights the most recent developments and trends in environmental careers.
Our Career Development Center provides services, resources, and programs designed to help students and alumni to better understand the career development process, and to enhance their professional preparation and employability.
