The certificate program in early childhood education is a 12 credit hour program that can be completed in one summer if desired.
The program consists of the following 4 courses:
Students who complete the early childhood education certificate may apply the 12 credit hours earned in this program toward the
M.S.Ed. In Teaching and Learning if they choose to apply to and are accepted into this master’s program. All courses in the certificate program must have been completed with a grade of B or better in order for the credits to be accepted.
The program is available at both the main campus in Plattsburgh and the Branch Campus in Queensbury.
