Recognized Occupation(s): SUNY Plattsburgh’s C.A.S. in Educational Leadership prepares individuals to be educational administrators at the elementary and/or secondary level (11-9032.00). 

On-time Graduate Rates: Generally individuals who enroll in this program are already working full-time in a school district. The average time to complete this program as a part-time student is 5 years (60 months). However, students have 10 years to complete the program from the time that they take their first matriculated course. Of the 32 students who entered this program in the spring, summer or fall of 2006, 21 or 66% graduated within 5 years.

Median Loan Debt: Median Title IV Loan Debt, Median Private Loan Educational Debt, and Median Institutional Financing Plan Debt was $0.

Educational Leadership at SUNY Plattsburgh

Note: New Applications to this Program are Deferred to Fall 2013 Semester

The CAS Educational Leadership Program has been completely rewritten to reflect the latest research on effective educational leadership practices. The new program is fully aligned with Educational Leadership Policy Standards and the Regents Reform Agenda.  At this time, we are deferring spring and summer 2013 applicants for admission to the fall semester of 2013 when it is anticipated that SED approval of our new CAS Leadership program will be completed.
