Specialized Rooms Directory and Overview

Custom-built by Computing and Media Services, these are curriculum-based rooms funded primarily through the student Educational Technology Fee.

Educational Technology (Ed-Tech) funds are competitively awarded, with the highest priority being placed on initiatives that reach a broad number of students while clearly enhancing and improving a department's or division's educational mission in concert with the college's strategic goals.

Initiatives can range from the creation of entire rooms, such as the Chemistry and Biology Labs, to specialized software upgrades and the installation of new facilities. From offering advice on hardware and software to ordering furniture to setting everything up, we try to make the process of "building" a room as quick and simple as possible.
