SUNY Plattsburgh Student Association (SA)
At SUNY Plattsburgh our students have a voice — a real voice — one that truly matters.
With an annual budget of $750,000, the Student Association (SA) plans events, sponsors clubs and organizations, advocates for students and is a true partner with the college. As a student, you are automatically a member, but why not run for an office — it’s one of the best campus leadership positions at the college. Talk about setting you up for success!
Powered by Students, For Students
At SUNY Plattsburgh, the Student Association (SA) is more than student government — it’s your voice in action. The SA plays a key role in college decision-making and ensures student voices are heard and matter.
Every student contributes and is a member through the Student Association Fee which funds:
- 75+ clubs and organizations
- Tutoring services
- Campus shuttle bus
- Student travel to conferences
- Vacation bus subsidies
- Concerts and campus activities
- Artwork for campus spaces
As a student, you can join any SA-sponsored club or activity. Don’t see what you’re looking for? The Student Engagement and Leadership Office, first floor of the Angell College Center, can help you start your own. Visit the SA in Cardinal Link to learn more.
Leadership
The SA leadership is comprised of an executive council, student senate, SA court and committees.
