Institutional Effectiveness Staff at SUNY Plattsburgh 

Dr. Bob Karp, Director

has been the Director of Institutional Effectiveness (formerly known as Institutional Research) at SUNY Plattsburgh since March 2000 and is an adjunct instructor in the Master of Liberal Studies program. He previously held institutional research and related positions in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Illinois and has served as an examiner for the Illinois Lincoln Foundation for Business Excellence, the New York Empire State Advantage, and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Dr. Karp received his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut.

Erin Campbell, Research Associate

recently joined the staff in July 2013. She previously worked in the Office of Institutional Advancement at SUNY Plattsburgh for 6 years. She received her Bachelor's from the College of Saint Rose in 2001 and  her MA degree in Administration and Leadership from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2009.

Angela Carlson-Bancroft, Research Associate

joined the staff in August 2013. She previously worked as a Research Assistant for The George Washington University Online High School. She received her Bachelor’s from the University of Connecticut and her Master’s from Teachers College, Columbia University. Currently she is a doctoral candidate at The George Washington University where her research interest is in teacher professional development via online learning communities.
