Homecoming Returns to its Autumn Roots

You spoke. We listened.

After a two-year break from the tradition, Homecoming is returning to its October home. The college took a different track with this longtime SUNY Plattsburgh tradition in 2010 and 2011, pairing Homecoming with Family Weekend, held earlier in the fall. Read more.

Three Alumni Star in ‘Tony n' Tina’s Wedding’

Weddings can bring forth feelings of love, times of celebration and acts of complete debauchery. At least that’s the case in “Tony n' Tina’s Wedding,” a hit that’s been performing its notorious nuptials since 1988.

This year, three SUNY Plattsburgh alumni are rejoining the Proctor’s Theatre cast for the Schenectady, N.Y., performances, Jan. 12-15. Read more.

Youth Leadership Program to Bring 60 to Plattsburgh from Sub-Saharan Africa

Sixty youth and adults will travel across the globe this year — from sub-Saharan Africa all the way to SUNY Plattsburgh — for short-term study through the new Youth Leadership Program with Francophone Africa.

The program offers lessons on youth leadership, American government and more. Awarded to SUNY Plattsburgh and PAGE Inc., this $330,000 grant was the only one of its kind to have been given this year. Read more.
