All SUNY Plattsburgh alumni are invited to help prepare the next generation of graduates for career success through Cardinal Networking Nights.
Three events are planned for early in the new year: Jan. 9 in Albany, N.Y.; Jan. 23 in New York City; and Jan. 30 in Plattsburgh. They are designed for alumni to discuss careers, internships, job searches and life after college with students. Read more.
Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine has named SUNY Plattsburgh to its list of the 100 best values in public colleges for 2014.
The national ranking honors four-year schools that combine outstanding education with economic value. SUNY Plattsburgh ranks 98th. The college has appeared on Kiplinger’s ranking multiple times before, most recently in 2011. Read more.
SUNY Plattsburgh honored adjunct lecturers Dr. Andrew Black, Dr. Marco Turco and Nora Montanaro with the college’s Teaching Excellence Award for Adjunct Faculty and Lecturers this fall.
The awardees received a certificate of recognition and $500 toward travel, training or supplies in support of teaching. Read more.
