Additional Information

Domestic Freshmen and Transfers

Applications receive optimal consideration when submitted by December 1 (for freshmen) or March 1 (for transfers) for the fall semester, and by November 1 for the spring semester. Candidates are encouraged to apply early.

EOP Applicants

Students who are interested in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and wish to use the Common Application must contact the Admissions Office after submitting the application to be considered for EOP. Students using the SUNY Application only need to indicate their interest on the application.

Please note: The Educational Opportunity Program requires a 250-word autobiography. We strongly encourage EOP applicants to choose Topic 5: "Topic of your Choice" on the SUNY Supplemental and submit an autobiography as this will meet the requirements for both admissions and EOP.

International Students

If you are an international student (not a United States citizen and not a permanent resident of the United States), you may use SUNY Plattsburgh's international application or the Common Application to apply for admission. Please review the international admission requirements and download the International Application Instructions and Application Form or the Common Application.

Graduate Students

If you are interested in our Graduate Programs, take a look at graduate admission requirements and download the Graduate Application Form (PDF file size 250Kb).

Readmission

Students who are seeking to be readmitted or reinstated to SUNY Plattsburgh should complete the application for readmission. Learn more about readmission.
