Professor Vanessa Young earned a Master’s in Social Work degree from Sussex University, England. After 6 years of professional practice in England, Ms. Young came to the United States. She has worked in behavioral health, and public health for more than 20 years. Prior to joining the faculty at Plattsburgh State in 2011, as full time Director of Field Education, Ms. Young was an adjunct faculty member with field education responsibilities for 13 years. Ms. Young’s interests include mental health, community health, and child and family services.
