Thesis Option G — Comprehensive Inquiry and Analysis: Accelerated Applied Theory Thesis/Exam

Instructions

  1. A set of 5 questions will be provided by your thesis advisor from which you will select 3 to answer.
  2. You will have a specified period of time to respond to these questions with relevant reference citing and to submit your results.
  3. For each of the 3 questions there is a minimum requirement for 12 cited references from literature relevant to the question.

This overview is provided only as a comparison of criteria between the inquiry exam and other options and a possible general approach to responding to topic specific questions. Most exam questions will provide you with sufficient information to guide your response rather than this general outline.

Thesis Template

  1. Provide a general description of your leadership style/approach to leadership.
  2. Identify and discuss applicable theories and applications for each question.

  3. Discuss each theory as it relates specifically to the question.
  4. Discuss any theories reviewed for a particular question as alternatives and were not applied directly to responding to the question.
  5. Summary: Discuss the meaningfulness of theories you applied in your solutions to your professional and personal leadership future.
