Entrepreneurship Major

Our Entrepreneurship Study Option Allows You To

• Prepare to start your own business or become a project manager
• Choose courses that match your interests
• Gain real-world experience through hands on class projects and internships

Major in Entrepeneurship (120 credits)

The Entrepreneurship program offers a curriculum that will prepare you to start your own business and/or to become a project manager in a large business. In addition to real-world hands-on and experiential class projects, the program incorporates the flexibility to be able to tailor some of your requirements to your interests in order to help you reach your own entrepreneurial objectives.

Benefits of a Major in Entrepeneurship

Our program consists of three foundation courses in entrepreneurship:

• Entrepreneurship/Intrapreneurship
• Personal Financial Planning
• Small Business Management

Combined with the flexibility to choose a course in a field that meets your entrepreneurial interests, such as

• Business-to-Business Marketing
• Marketing Channels Strategy
• Principles of Advertising
• Retail Store Management
• Sales Force Management
• Selected Topics in Management: E-Commerce
• Selected Topics in Marketing: Interactive Marketing, Public Relations
• Services Marketing

And the opportunity to discover and develop your entrepreneurial skills in an internship. Students may select an internship at the Small Business Development Center, Technical Assistance Center, or in any business or industry.
