Producing audio is part of the coursework

Students enrolled in the digital media production major acquire their production expertise by learning the mechanics, artistry, and impact of audio-based assignments.

Below is a list of the types of projects our students learn to produce:

  • Photo editing & compositing projects.
  • Print layout (edit & design) projects.
  • Website design & production projects.
  • Virtual world imaging (Second Life) projects.
  • Animated (2D) commercials/spots, public service announcements, interstitials.
  • Animated (2D) show intros, credits, and dramatic shorts.
  • Animated (2D) comedy shorts, parodies, & vanity logos.
  • Animated/Live action comedy shorts.

Student animator Chris Daniels produced this 007-style spoof while taking CMM424 Advanced Multimedia Design.
