Field Notes:Found inside the southwest corner of the forge building, abutting the south wall.
Constructed of mortared, tabular stones, this T-shaped forge was 9 1/2 ft. deep, with a maximum width of 10 ft.
It was undoubtedly used to repair forge tools, hardware, and other equipment.
