Find Your Academic Advisor

Every matriculated student is assigned an academic Advisor in their major. To find out who your academic Advisor is:

  • Visit SUNY Plattsburgh's website and click on the MyPlattsburgh portal link on the top right
  • Click Sign In, then Login with your username and password, and click on the Student Services tab*
  • Look to the resource links to the left, under Academic Profile, you will see the name(s) of your Advisor(s)

* New students are assigned an Advisor just prior to the beginning of a semester. If you are a new student who does not yet have a NetID for access to our computer system, but you need academic advising, do one of the following:

  • Contact the department chairperson for your program, OR
  • Visit/call the Academic Advising Office, Feinberg 101, 518-564-2080

If you'd like the office location, phone number, and email address of your advisor:

  • Visit SUNY Plattsburgh's website and click on the Find People link on the top right
  • Type in your advisor's last name, and click the Search button
