Television & Video Production Major

Learn studio and field production for video and television through hands-on experience. You will produce shows and edit in linear and non-linear suites. By working at SUNY Plattsburgh’s television facility (PSTV) you will be prepared for a variety of careers in TV-Video broadcasting.

TV-Video Production program

In the TV-video production program you apply theoretical concepts while planning and designing programs, capturing, editing and post-producing shows both in the studio and in the field.

You will have the opportunity to work at SUNY Plattsburgh's television facility, PSTV, and reach from 40,000 regular viewers to 2 million viewers through specialty programming like "Cardinal Hockey."

Graduating with this program, you will be prepared for careers from producing and directing, acting and editing, and various other production positions.
