Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Public Service at SUNY Plattsburgh is to support and promote the college’s myriad service and civic engagement activities by providing an administrative structure to coordinate these efforts.

The four key programs that comprise the center are: The Center for Student Volunteerism, The Center for Excellence in Teaching, The Institute for Ethics in Public Life, and the Partnership for Economic and Cultural Development. The center is staffed by Co-Directors and reports directly to the Provost.
