Angell College Center Information Desk

Located on the first floor of the Angell College Center, the Information Desk is your all-purpose stop to find out what's going on.

It is also the place to purchase tickets to events, rent a movie, sign-out a magazine, or find out a professor's office number. Available services include:

Including 1st class, airmail and postcard stamps, package weighing and drop-off, envelopes and intercampus mail drop.

Lake Champlain Transportation Ferry Tickets

For Cumberland Head-Grand Island Crossing to Vermont. Cost is $7.50 for car and driver, $3.00 for passenger (one way). More more information and schedules, go to www.ferries.com. Available to students, faculty/staff and alumni only.

Regal Entertainment and Cumberland 12 Cinema Tickets

Regal Entertainment VIP (restricted) Super Saver Tickets, valid for admission after the first 12 days of selected new release films at any Regal Cinemas (located at nearby Champlain Center), and Cumberland 12 Cinema Platinum tickets are available. Cost is $7.50. Available to students, faculty/staff and alumni only.

Whiteface Mountain Ski Tickets

Reduced rate day passes are available to students, faculty/staff and alumni and season's passes are availabe to students only. Cost is $60.00 for non-holiday, $65.00 for holiday and $285.00 for season's pass.

Burghy Video Den

The Burghy Video Den features a large selection of DVD movies available to students and faculty/staff at a rate of $2.00 per day, or only $1.00 per day on Mondays and Wednesdays. New releases are available every Tuesday, and free microwave popcorn is offered with rentals Tuesday and Thursday.

Lockers

Lockers are available on the first floor of the Angell College Center for students to use free of charge. Reservations are made in the College Center Office, across from the Information Desk.

Clubs and Organization Mailboxes

All Student Association Clubs and Organizations are assigned a mailbox at the Information Desk.

Magazines

The Information Desk offers a selection of periodicals which students may borrow free of charge. Magazines include: People, Time, Sports Illustrated, The Conservationist, Consumer Reports, and Plattsburgh's local newspaper, the Press Republican.

  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - midnight
  • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - midnight
