Applying for Graduate Admissions

Applications to graduate programs at SUNY Plattsburgh and our branch campus in Queensbury are processed by the Graduate Admissions Office, located on the first floor of the Kehoe Administration Building on the main campus in Plattsburgh.

At this time, our applications are offered in PDF format, which can be downloaded and printed. Contact the Graduate Admissions Office to receive a paper copy of the application in the mail. Be sure to select the correct application for your academic program:

Please pay careful attention to the detailed checklist and instructions on the first page of your application packet, which explain all items needed to complete your application, including official transcripts, letters of recommendation, an application fee, and entrance exams.

Program Interviews

A number of graduate programs may require an interview, including Expeditionary Studies, Educational Leadership (SBL and SDL Programs), M.S.T. Childhood Education, M.S.T. Adolescence Education, Literacy Education, Teaching and Learning, Mental Health Counseling, Student Affairs Counseling, Speech-Language Pathology, and School Psychology. If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the academic department to arrange a date and time to come to campus.
