- About Plattsburgh
Students who want to be marketing professionals tend to see themselves as creative and action-oriented individuals. The marketing program will enable you to see the "big picture."
You will gain knowledge and experience in marketing research to learn what consumers want, and then learn how to develop a comprehensive marketing mix in order to satisfy consumers.
"Marketing is an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders."
--American Marketing Association definition of marketing, 2004
The Marketing program at Plattsburgh State is one of the original business programs in the School of Business and is fully accredited by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
