- About Plattsburgh
The Division of Library and Information Services provides leadership and support in the areas of information resources, including technology, access, exchange, programming, and information and computer literacy. We inform, educate, and support all aspects of the educational mission of SUNY Plattsburgh. Our programs and policies strive to be responsive to the needs of students, faculty, staff, and the community.
If you are an enrolled student, Feinberg Library is your resource center. Find what you need to complete course assignments, conduct quality research, and improve your information-gathering skills. Do you want to be an exceptional college student? Start here.
For faculty, Feinberg librarians act as individually assigned departmental contacts. We invite you to contact us to begin one-to-one conversations about your teaching and scholarship needs.
Extensive technology services - from mainframe to desktop and everything in between - help to ensure that nobody pulls the plug on your projects. Whether it's virus protection, hardware help, software support, or the easing of everyday technology troubles - we do it all. We also handle all campus computer information systems and networking needs for students, staff, and faculty, and we support the college's lab and classroom facilities. If you do experience any technology problems, just remember the universal techno-mantra: call the Helpdesk!
Interested in new ways of enhancing your learning experience? Looking for a non-traditional alternative to the college classroom? Online learning may be the answer. Online learners enjoy the convenience of completing courses at home, and at times that are convenient for them.
